Prior to his move to New York Dr. Viswanathan was a faculty member at the Indiana University School of Optometry. Her family of six (awesome husband, two beautiful children, and two dogs) live in West Palm Beach, Florida. Dr. Wong received her OD and PhD from the State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Szczotka-Flynn serves as an Associate Editor for Eye & Contact Lens and a guest editor for Optometry and Vision Science after having served on the OVS Editorial Board for 12 years. Hyperosmolarity is one of the key disfunctions in ocular surface disease and dry eye. His research interests focus on the epidemiology and control of blinding ocular disease in the US and in developing countries and includes health services research on outcomes of clinical management strategies on a population basis. Dr. Walline served on the Communications Committee, he was vice chair of the Scientific Program Committee, and he chaired the Faculty-Student Liaison Committee.
